Chaplain – RPA Hospital and Westmead Hospital

Jericho Road is seeking to appoint a chaplain to Royal Prince Alfred (1.5 to 2 days) and Westmead (3 days) Hospitals. This is a full time position OR a 9 day per fortnight position and commences in July 2016.

Our purpose is to assist the Presbyterian Church of NSW to demonstrate the character of God by providing fresh hope and care for those who are in need, in a way that seeks justice, shows mercy and makes Jesus known.

Our vision is to provide high quality and distinctively Christian care to all those in the community who are most vulnerable and who would otherwise be isolated from support.

Qualifications required:
* A qualification in theology at least at diploma level. 
* Completion or willingness to complete within the first 12 months a course recognised by the CCAC in Chaplaincy training. 
* Membership of the Presbyterian Church of Australia.

Essential Criteria
* Experience and a demonstrated competence in pastoral ministry;
* Clear understanding of boundaries in a pastoral context;
* Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team;
* Ability to work with chaplains of other denominations and other faiths;
* Excellent communication skills.

Allowah Presbyterian Children’s Hospital is seeking a Casual Kitchen Hand / Formula Room person.
Minimum qualifications HLT21212 Cert II in Health Support – achieved or working towards with the four core units completed including:
• Communicate and work effectively in health
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures
• Participate in WHS processes
• Work effectively with others

Duties include food preparation and delivery in accordance with provided menu and cleaning the kitchen.
